If you want to cheer, we have a program for you. The Elmwood Cheerleading Academy, located in Kidsports, offers competitive and non-competitive programs for pre-k through college age students.

Galaxy All Star Cheerleading
All Star Cheerleading Teams are comprised of individuals to combine their talents and compete in competitions. Elmwood Cheerleading also encourages students to participate in special events hosted by Elmwood Fitness Center and Ochsner Hospital.

Local teams compete and perform in local competitions in the New Orleans area or within a 2 hour drive.

Traveling teams travel to national competitions that require expenses for travel to locations determined at the beginning of the season. These competitions usually require that you spend the night and require airline travel.

Individual Cheer and Tumbling
Classes are specialized for individuals to increase their cheer and tumbling skills for their individual needs. We teach each student to accomplish their goals for tryouts and/or other personal gains. 

School Cheerleading Squads
School squads work out with qualified instructors in a facility that is equipped to train cheerleaders. We offer a complete foam floor, tumble track, spotting belts, and equipment designed for cheerleading to progress your cheerleading skills.
