Kids Fitness Programs

Ochsner caters not only to the fitness needs of adults, but also to children beginning an exercise routine early in life. Our goal is to help children develop active and positive lifestyles.  Children in our youth fitness program can participate in a wide variety of group fitness classes designed just for them - weight training, cycling, flexibility and more. We have 11 pieces of weight training equipment and cycling bikes custom-made for children. The Youth Fitness Program is appropriate for children of any skill level, as well as those with special needs or limitations.

Youth Fitness Programs

Youth Fitness programs are suitable for children 8-13 years of age, and available to members and non-members. Our youth fitness staff develops and designs an exercise program to meet the needs of each child based on their goals by incorporating cardio and weight training.  We believe this program increase confidence and independence while working to become physically active.  Contact a membership representative or Alaina Wertz for complete information on pricing and scheduling a consultation, 504-842-9524.

Youth fitness is held in Kidsports from 4:30pm-7:30pm Monday through Thursday, Friday from 4:30pm-6:00pm, and Saturday morning from 11:00am - 12:00pm.
